My recent stay at 34 St Olave'S Road was superb. The house was clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished, making it a comfortable and inviting place to stay. The location was perfect, within easy walking distance of all the attractions in York. The large, well-equipped kitchen and lovely dining area were a bonus, and the downstairs toilet was convenient. The two beautifully decorated bathrooms upstairs were a treat, and the pretty courtyard added a touch of charm. The property also provided parking permits, making it easy to find a spot nearby.

The location of this place is mind-blowing - just a short stroll to all the main attractions. The Victorian house itself is super charming, especially the sunny back patio. The rooms are spacious and the beds are like sleeping on clouds. The staff were incredibly helpful when it came to parking, and the house overall was jaw-droppingly great. The kitchen is well-equipped for all your cooking needs, and the bathrooms are beautifully decorated. Plus, the free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and VIP check-in/out made us feel like true VIPs. We also loved the outdoor dining area and the fact that pets are allowed. And to top it all off, there's a strict no-smoking policy, which is always a bonus. this place is a must-stay if you're visiting the area!

Had a romantic escape and it was great! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center and all the attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, with nice fittings. We loved the spaciousness of the property, with two living areas to relax in. The staff were also very helpful with any issues we had with parking permits. it was a lovely stay.
There were a few negatives. The shower in the bathroom wasn't very powerful and the water didn't stay hot for long, which was a bit disappointing.

Some areas of the hotel, like the bathroom doors and mattresses, could use improvement and maintenance.

Stayed at a property with a "terrace" covered with leaves and a "fireplace" that probably hasn't been lit since the Victorian era. Oh, and the "free WiFi" was so fast that I had time to discover a new color: verdigris!
What can I say? I just love slipping on a slippy outside area and struggling to open doors swollen with rain.

Free WiFi, because who doesn't enjoy a spotty internet connection? Lovely terrace to enjoy, if you don't mind shooing away mosquitoes. Free parking, as long as you enjoy playing musical cars with the limited spaces available. Towels provided, if you like drying yourself with sandpaper.
An airport nearby, because who doesn't enjoy the soothing sound of airplanes taking off and landing at all hours?
